Full Itinerary
1 Guwahati Arrival – Transfer to Jorhat
Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station and drive to Jorhat (approx. 7–8 hrs). Check-in and overnight stay.
2 Jorhat – Majuli Island
Take a ferry across the Brahmaputra River to Majuli. Visit Satra monasteries and the Samaguri Satra mask-making village. Enjoy the unique cultural vibes of the island. Overnight stay in Majuli.
3 Majuli – Jorhat – Guwahati
Morning exploration of Majuli. Return by ferry to Jorhat, then drive to Guwahati. Overnight stay.
4 Guwahati – Shillong
Drive to Shillong (approx. 3 hrs). En route, stop at Umiam Lake for scenic views and photography. Evening visit to Police Bazar. Overnight stay.
5 Shillong – Cherrapunji
Drive to Cherrapunji. En route visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak. In Cherrapunji, visit Nohkalikai Falls and Mawsmai Cave. Overnight stay.
6 Cherrapunji – Dawki – Mawlynnong – Shillong
Visit Dawki River (boating on crystal-clear waters), the Indo-Bangladesh border, and Mawlynnong (Asia's cleanest village). Return to Shillong. Overnight stay.
7 Shillong – Guwahati Drop
Transfer to Guwahati for departure.
