Devbhoomi — The Land of Gods

India's Most Sacred and Scenic Himalayan State — and It Has More to Offer Than You Think

Most travellers who visit Uttarakhand come for one thing — and leave having found three more.

The Char Dham pilgrimage draws hundreds of thousands every year, and rightly so. Standing at Kedarnath at 3,583 metres, with the Mandakini valley falling away below you and the temple rising from bare rock, is an experience that stays with you long after the journey home. But Uttarakhand is much more than a pilgrimage route.

Rishikesh is where river rapids meet sunrise yoga. Mussoorie is where families have been escaping the plains heat for generations. Auli turns into one of India's few genuine skiing destinations in winter. The Kumaon hills — Nainital, Kausani, Ranikhet — are quieter, greener, and more unhurried than most travellers expect. And Jim Corbett has been surprising wildlife enthusiasts with tiger sightings for decades.

Our packages are built for travellers who want to see it properly — with a private vehicle, someone who knows the roads and the season, and itineraries that leave room to breathe rather than rush.

Why Meet 'N' Greet Travels

We Know These Mountains Better Than Most

We've been running Uttarakhand tours for years. Here's what that means for your trip.

Your vehicle. Your schedule.

Every package comes with a dedicated private vehicle — no shared cabs, no waiting for co-passengers. Want to spend an extra hour at Badrinath before driving back? You stop. It's that simple.

No surprise charges on arrival

What's listed in the package is what you pay. Tolls, parking, driver allowances — all included. We'll tell you clearly what's not covered (entry fees, pony or palki charges at Kedarnath, personal expenses) so you can budget without guesswork.

Local knowledge that actually helps

We know the best time to reach Har Ki Pauri for the Ganga Aarti. We know when the Kedarnath trail gets congested and how to plan around it. We know which Kumaon homestays have the Himalayan views worth waking up early for. That kind of knowledge doesn't come from a brochure.

One person handles everything

From the moment you land in Haridwar or Dehradun to the moment you leave, you have a single point of contact. No juggling between operators, no confusion about who picks you up, no miscommunication mid-trip.

We're honest about season windows and road conditions

The Char Dham temples close from November to April. Some high-altitude roads become inaccessible after heavy snowfall. We'll tell you this upfront — and help you pick the right package for the right time of year — rather than let you find out after you've booked.

Plan Your Trip

When Should You Go?

April – June

This is the prime season. The Char Dham temples open in late April or early May, pilgrims are arriving in full swing, and the weather across the hills is cool and pleasant. Rishikesh and Haridwar are accessible year-round, but the mountain roads to Kedarnath and Badrinath are at their best during these months. Book early — Char Dham season fills up fast.

September – November

Post-monsoon Uttarakhand is beautiful. The skies have cleared, the hills are still green from the rains, and the crowds from peak pilgrimage season have thinned. October is widely considered the best month for Himalayan photography and for the Kumaon hill stations. The Char Dham temples close in October–November (dates vary by year).

December – February

Winter transforms the upper reaches. Auli becomes one of India's best skiing destinations, Mussoorie gets occasional snowfall, and the pilgrimage towns are quiet and atmospheric. Nainital and the Kumaon hills are cold but accessible and largely crowd-free. The Char Dham shrines are closed during this period.

July – August (Monsoon)

The Valley of Flowers is at its absolute peak in July and August — a riot of alpine wildflowers across a high-altitude meadow. However, the monsoon also brings landslides and unpredictable road conditions on mountain routes. Char Dham travel during this period requires flexibility. Best for travellers with loose itineraries who don't mind adapting on the go.

Note: Char Dham temple opening and closing dates (typically late April/early May and October/November) are announced by temple committees and change each year. We'll confirm the exact dates when you enquire.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Dehradun (Jolly Grant Airport, DED) is the main gateway for Char Dham, Mussoorie, Auli, and Rishikesh. For Nainital, Corbett, and the Kumaon region, you should arrive at Kathgodam railway station (the nearest railhead). Haridwar station is also a common starting point for Rishikesh and pilgrimage circuits. All our packages include pickup directly from your arrival point — just share your travel details when you book.
